West Bengal Public Service Commission has released WB Civil Services
Exam 2020 notification on November 4, 2019. Candidates who want to apply
for the examination can apply for it by visiting the official site of
WBPSC at pscwbapplication.in. The last date to apply for the examination
will be till November 25, 2019.
The vacancies to be filled through this examination drive will be disclosed after the results are declared. On the basis of the result, West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) and certain other services and posts will be made. Candidates should have a degree from a recognised University. The ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is mandatory. Candidates applying for the examination should be above 21 years of age and below 36 years of age as on January 1, 1999. Check Official Notification here.

The application fees for the examination is Rs 210/- + service charge 1 percent of examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs 5/- only for only for online payment through debit/credit card plus service charge /GST as applicable as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment). WB Civil Services Exam 2020: Selection Process
The W.B.C.S. (Exe.) etc. Examination consists of two parts – Written Examination and Personality Test. Written Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., (i) Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and (ii) Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type). A number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Main Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Main Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.Other Details
